About Us

Prime Painting Contractors was established in 2015 with the vision to give clients an outstanding experience and quality finishing. Owner Stefan Ionescu in a different time graduated from university and spent his time working as a creative web/graphic designer for 5 years. That is… until the GFC hit, and work was scarce in the tech sector. He found himself embracing the beauty of physical labour and fell in love with the transformation that takes place when fresh paint is used to resurrect the derelict.

The next 5 years he spent honing his skills and expertise until it was time to start on his own. Since that time Prime Painting Contractors has operated in a variety of sectors from residential volume building, private residential, commercial and government. From repairing poorly finished decks to high-end luxury spray finishes, over the years we have gained a wealth of knowledge that helps us combine strong process and high quality products to achieve long lasting results.

Here we are now, still with the same vision, all about excellent service and finishing.
